Google Cheat Sheet

By Stephen Brown

Google Cheat SheetI wouldn’t consider myself a huge expert, but I can usually locate online information fairly quickly through Google. With all of the new services and functionality that they have offered over the last two years, it can be quite a chore to keep track of everything you can do with Google.

That’s why I was happy to stumble across a post at GeeksAreSexy (never mind the name) on the Google Cheat Sheet, a quick guide created purely for educational purposes that covers many of the tricks, services, and more advanced functions of Google. The cheat sheet presents everything from the more obvious functions like using Google Calculator and a thorough explanation of how Google uses pigeon pecks to determine page ranking to the more obscure including tracking FedEx packages, converting various currencies, and how Google can help spice up your dating life. I highly suggest taking the tour on Google Romance.

In addition to the more extensive cheat sheet, you can also turn to the Google Help for some of the more advanced search engine features as well as their own version of the cheat sheet
